Mist chpt9 Guinivere fell forwards, Mouser's cock sliding out with a pop, she looked around, looking for signs of attack, however Mouser just sighed, his erection began to subside and he reached for a soft towel, with gentle hands he cleaned Guinivere and himself up explaining as he went. "No need to fear My Lady, Her Royal Highness, my good Mother, the Queen always did have an overblown sense of theatrics, relax, we are not under attack, not a hostile one anyway, my Mother is the only person who has the power to break through my shields and wards, it seems our arrival has finally come to her notice and this is her way of letting me know that she knows we are here, it is also a not very subtle way of summonsing us to her court, we had best be on our way" Caught as she was in still in a highly aroused state the only thing that really penetrated into her mind of Mouser's explanation was that the Queen wanted to see them, her. Suddenly she realised she was in no state to be presented before the oldest and most powerful Daoine Sithe in the land, she was sweaty and she smelled of the pleasures of the bed. As if sensing the turmoil her mind was in Mouser clapped his hands again and there appeared a gently steaming basin of hot water and some cloths and a comb. "Hurry now, it doesnt do to keep my Mother waiting". Quickly cleaning herself up and rebraiding her hair, Guinivere washed and dressed within 5 minutes, Mouser smiled at her, taking her hand he whistled, not the same tune as before, this trilled up and down the scale, this time Guinivere didnt feel as if she was moving, but more as if the familiar surrounds of Mouser's house were melting and being replaced by a forest clearing, the air shimmered and suddenly she was standing in a forest clearing in front of an imposing structure and she felt as if she was being watched by hundreds of eyes. The imposing structure proved to be a portcullis which opened as they moved up the path, she held Mouser's hand tight in her own and he smiled down at her. "There a few things I must tell you before you meet my Mother, she is old but not as old as the tales make out, she still retains her youth and beauty, the Daoine Sithe do not get old as mortals do, but you must remember there is nothing to fear from ANY of the Daoine Sithe, we have sworn to protect you, for you are vital to our continued wellbeing, we have no wish to see your land torn apart by needless conflict and war, Her Royal Highness also has a sharp tongue and doesnt beleive in suffering fools gladly, she knows of you and thinks well of you, but you must not no matter what is said, repeat anything you hear to anyone, not to your Guardian, not to Lancelot, trust me please, there are good reasons" Guinivere looked at him, nodded to signal her agreement he released her hand, they walked through the open door and into a vast waiting chamber, doors led off in all directions, Mouser gently pushed her towards one of the doors, it opened as she neared it and it took all of her good manners dinned into her by her Nursemaid and Governess to quell her natural reaction to gasp with delight as she entered the room, opulent was not the word to describe the richness and splendour of the many treaures that were on open display, not from any sense of ostentation Guinivere guessed, but because they were pretty and Her Royal Highness liked pretty things. All the training in the world couldn't supress Guinivere's audible gasp of delight when she saw the Queen, she was the most exquisite person Guinivere had ever seen, beautiful was to mean a word to describe her suddenly Guinivere was transported back to when she was a child, she could see clearly in her mind, her Nurse showing her the small pencil drawing that was the only thing that had been in the bundle she was found in, she could still see very clearly in her mind, the drawing done with loving care, every line radiating love, she blinked, tears forming in her eyes, Guinivere had never known her mother and yet this woman, the Queen of the Daoine Sithe was the identical likeness of the picture that she had committed to her memory all these long years. The Queen rose from her throne, clapped her hands and suddenly she was alone in the room, even Mouser had melted unobtrusively from sight, Guinivere was confused, very confused, she reached up to wipe the tears from her eyes, but the Queen forestalled her, her warm fingers gathering the tears from the corners of her eyes, pressing a finger to her lips she beckoned Guinivere to follow her, through a small door into a cosy little sitting room, the door shut behind her, the Queen spoke three words and Guinivere sensed that once again she was completely safe, no one no power no matter of what origin, could break through the protective spell of the Queen, only now that they were completely safe and alone did the Queen speak for the first time. Her voice was soft and musical and tugged at Guinivere's heart strings, surely yes, she had heard this voice before, long ago. "I can see that you are puzzled little one, if you will pardon an old woman's reminiscing then listen closely to the story I am about to tell you, it will explain much, it wont explain all and you will have questions, I will do my best to answer them"
