July 4 Dear Sammie: Last night our old friends, Sally and Cindy came over. We sat around and had a few drinks and eventually the conversation turned to you. You, with flowing brown curls, well-muscled limbs, a soft downy snatch, and a voice as sweet as the sound of life in the woods, went away in the cold of the winterÕs frost. I, of course, couldnÕt maintain. They did their best to make me feel better. We ended up snuggled together on the couch bed, after what seems like hours of love making. Just three women loving and caressing and learning each other. I haven't made love to anyone, since you left all those many months ago. I woke up this morning and realized for the first time in months IÕd slept through the night. I rolled to one side and there was Cindy smiling contentedly, then I rolled to the other side and there was Sally still dozing. Cindy reached from behind and diddled my nipples and I parted SallyÕs legs and Jilled her while she slept. My other hand found itself buried in my still sticky Y. Yes, I think the snow has finally thawed and the Spring has come and gone. Today is truly a SummerÕs day. Tonight IÕll be going to he park with Sally and Cindy. TonightÕs the Fourth, so IÕll be watching the fireworks as they light up the sky. You know, you lit up my sky when you were here. That first night we made love was like seeing the play of sky rockets, and Catherine wheels, and spinners against the black-velvet sky in the deepest recesses of my mind. I think IÕll ask them both to move in when their lease is up next month. It will be nice to have the breath of life around here again. And, it will be even nicer to admit to myself, IÕm finally over you. Claire
